Progress Report: January 2021

Happy new year. We're poking our heads up for an update on our progress at Silver Brothers. 2020 is now behind us. And, while on many levels and for many reasons, it's a year we'd rather forget, it was also a foundational year for our project: we acquired the spectacular farm and buildings for the distillery, received approval from the town to move ahead, ordered our stills (more on that later...), and had a breakthrough on the grain-growing side of the operation. (Which is turning out to be one of the hardest parts of the endeavor). In any case, we are on to the new year and eager to start buildout in earnest this Spring (pending approvals, and fingers crossed). We'll keep you posted as things develop.
The little guy below, by the way, is Alvin. He keeps an eye on the place. And if you happen to swing by, he loves apples..
